The channel features projects that have made use of TIA’s funded research infrastructure (or facilities) across the country. All the featured projects have benefited from cutting edge Aussie technologies in high throughput screening, medicinal chemistry, molecular pathology, GMP manufacture of proteins and cell therapies, preclinical testing and clinical trial capabilities.

Taken together these facilities improve Australian capacity in translating therapeutic discoveries into clinical applications, while addressing critical gaps in developing therapeutics for better human health.

The innovations are at various stages of development and our data system tracks them in real time. Click ‘follow’ on any of them to be the first to know when it’s passed a regulatory milestone, gain insight into the trial it’s been involved in, any funding it’s received, and other significant milestones. The channel’s easy-to-digest layout also gives potential funders, industry leaders and health consumers a glimpse of the amazing therapeutic solutions that are in the making, if they are not already in the market.

We’ve been working closely with TIA the past few months, tweaking our data system to track its indirect impact on the Australian therapeutic space into an interactive system that is both trackable and measurable. We are proud of this collaboration and we look forward to continue working with them to address other gaps that hinder worthwhile therapeutics from making it into our lives faster.
