What is your health innovation? What does it aim to do?
Thrivor is an administration portal: Designed to assist health administrations manage communication, appointment facilitation, and payments.
Thrivor is also a Patient & Supporter app: Acts as a support tool for life outside a patient’s clinical care
Thrivor enables 3-way communication and co-ordination between healthcare administrators, patients, and their supporters.
Thrivor is free for the patient, carers and their supporters and has a subscription pricing for health administrators.
Thrivor believes better health journeys result in better clinical outcomes. Patients receive invaluable personal support from supporters and are guided during the unfamiliar and traumatic time of a health crisis when using thrivor.
Thrivor provides improved communications between health administrators and patients and increases compliance with the therapeutic regimen and reduces the cost of non-adherence.
How is your innovation relevant to hospitals?
Thrivor allows Hospitals to communicate directly with patients and their carers. Thrivor allows appointments to be sent to the patients’ app and creates reminders for patients and their carers. Thrivor also allows administrators to send pre-admission information so as to increase appointment compliance and develop a closer relationship between Hospital and patient.
What challenges have you come up against in developing your health innovation? What motivated you to keep going?
We have found that many health sites are adverse to change even when it may result in increased efficiencies and a better experience for the patient and their carer.
What is one thing the public could do to help your innovation to succeed?
Ask your Hospital if they are using thrivor to communicate their appointments and if not demand a better experience.
